We refer to hydration as the water content within the cells that helps skin look and feel replenished and plump. We refer to moisturization as the ability to seal in moisture and to help strengthen the skin's natural protective barrier. The Lip Balm is designed as a hydrator and moisturizer in one. Answer * * * ### Why Is pH Level Mentioned On The Package? During the formulation process we optimize the pH of the formula. We believe it directly impacts the safety and efficacy of the formula. The pH objective will vary based on product purpose. On the secondary packaging (carton) we provide a pH range. The reason pH range is indicated is that pH may vary during the manufacturing process and/or slightly change over time. Formulas that do not contain enough water will not have a pH listed. Answer * * * ### Is This Product Certified Eczema-Safe? Yes. This product holds The Seal of Approval by the National Eczema Association. This product has undergone the specific safety testing protocol required to obtain this seal. Answer * * * ### Can I Use The Product If I Am Pregnant? We formulate without ingredients on the EU's prohibited substances list (Regulation No.1223/2009, Annex II). This formula is Dermatologist-Tested and Hypoallergenic. If you have any specific concerns, we recommend consulting your doctor prior to use. Answer * * * ### Is This Product Certified Gluten-Free, Soy-Free And Nut-Free? This product is not certified gluten-free, soy-free or nut-free. This product is manufactured in a facility where gluten, soy and nuts may be used. If you have an allergy to gluten, soy or nuts, we recommend that you do not use this product. If you still wish to try, please consider a patch test. Answer * * * ## Reviews * * * Reviews Summary Generated by AI from 100 most recent customer reviews Last updated 8/3/26 Customers say this lip balm is moisturizing and provides long-lasting hydration with a smooth, non-sticky texture. The cooling metal applicator is frequently praised for its luxurious feel and easy application. Many users appreciate the subtle mint flavor and refreshing tingle. Common feedback highlights softness and plumpness after use. However, some find the mint irritating or drying, particularly those with sensitive skin or eczema. A few note the formula melts in warm weather, while others mention it feels thick. Despite the higher price point, most customers consider the quality and effectiveness worthwhile. 4.7 Rated 4.7 out of 5 stars Based on 144 reviews 5 Rated out of 5 stars 125 Total 5 star reviews: 125 4 Rated out of 5 stars 5 Total 4 star reviews: 5 3 Rated out of 5 stars 5 Total 3 star reviews: 5 2 Rated out of 5 stars 4 Total 2 star reviews: 4 1 Rated out of 5 stars 5 Total 1 star reviews: 5 Reviews 144(tab expanded) Questions 2(tab collapsed) Filters [Write a Review (Opens in a new window)](https://okendo.reviews/?subscriberId=8c825f52-9ddd-47b0-a3f8-99e95542ba21&productId=shopify-7293715054705&locale=en&okeChannel=reviews-widget-write-review-button) 144 reviews Sort Most RecentOldestMost HelpfulPhotos & VideosHighest RatingLowest RatingLeast Helpful - **Marissa B.** Verified Buyer Reviewing [The Lip Balm Duo](/content/products/the-lip-balm-duo?variant=41652765458545/index.html) I recommend this product **What are your skin concerns?** Dryness **What are your hair concerns?** Dryness, Frizz Rated 5 out of 5 stars 8/1/26 Better in the winter.. I really like this lip balm so much only when using during winter coz its not melting inside the tube. Right now in the summer i felt like the balm itself comes out easily from the tube.
